My First Christmas Part III

Christmas Part III was in Galena, IL; it was so much fun to hang out with everyone for a few days.  Gramma and Papa gave me a new rocking chair handmade by the Amish - don't even think about trying to sit in my chair, I'm already relaxing in it!  I loved my new blocks, it was so funny when someone would build a tower of them, and I would knock it down!  Blocks don't sing songs or have flashing lights, but I think they may be my new favorite toy.

There was no snow, but we played games, opened presents, and I ate a LOT of puffs.  In the morning I would sit in my high chair and wait for everyone to wake up and come up the stairs - I could see everyone from there.  I sure love this Christmas thing - can we do it again next month?

My First Christmas - Part II

More presents? Wow, this Christmas thing is fun.  I realized how much I like grabbing all the tissue paper and trying to put the wrapping paper in my mouth.  I really liked watching everyone else open their presents too - it was a fun brunch with more yummy food!

Angela gave me a Disney book that Mommy gave to her when she was a little girl.  It is filled with stories and pictures, and I can't wait until I can read it - or at least have it read to me!  It was such a special present.  She also took all these pictures today - she can always catch me smiling.

My First Christmas - Part I

I was so excited on Christmas morning, I had so many packages to open and so many new toys to play with! I must have been a very good girl this year, because Santa brought me so good stuff!  My favorite, by far, is my Little People airplane.  I can put take the people out of the plane myself - just like my fish tank - but I did not want to let go of the little girl.  I carried her around all day with me!

Porter must have been a good dog, because Santa brought him some good stuff.  He had fun opening up his stocking.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

On Christmas Eve we all ate a delicous dinner.  I had a wonderful assortment of puffs, I prefered them to the cauliflower you see on my tray.  Porter also ate his dinner while we had ours.  Daddy put some videos of me on youtube too, just click HERE.

Busy Day

Oma came to visit me today at school.  I pulled off my sock when she got there, because that always makes her laugh.  then I showed her the toy that I love - when you press the buttons, the boxes open up.  I was very proud of myself that I could press the boxes back down so they can pop up again.  Then I was very curious about the new balls that were in the ring.  I wanted to play with all of them, but I also needed to know what was going on over on the other side of the room.  I have to keep track of all the comings and goings, you know.  Today sure was a busy day.

Catching Some Z's...

Daddy and I took a little nap on the couch today.  The Bears played so bad that they could not even keep us awake!  Mommy said we were both snoring, but I don't believe it.

Let it Snow

When I woke up this morning, there was snow on the ground - not a lot, just enough to make the ground all white.  As soon as mommy opened up the blinds in my room, I noticed that the ground and roof was white, and I couldn't stop looking at it.  I wore my pink hat just in case the snow could somehow get inside the house.  Then daddy showed me the backyard and I thought it was pretty funny to see his perfect green grass covered with the white stuff!  Let it snow!

Chomp, Chomp

The Tooth Fairy came last night, only she didn't take a tooth, she gave me a tooth!  I finally got my first tooth on the bottom left side.  Now, I'm ready to chew some bubble gum.  I was trying to point it out to mommy, but finally she just had to feel it for herself.

Snack Time

Mommy has been giving me some puffs, and I love them.  I'm getting very good at picking them up with my thumb and first finger and putting them in my mouth.  I first tried them at school when I took one from my friend sitting next to me at the table.  They are a great snack, and when you eat one it just dissolves in your mouth.  Yum!
