My First Golf Course

Today daddy won a free putter - isn't he lucky?  I got a fee new plastic golf ball.  What a great idea for mom and me to go there in the wagon!

Take a Seat

Oma painted my step stool and brought it over today.  Pretty soon I'm going to be using it to brush my teeth, but for now it is the perfect place for me to sit and read a book.  Porter likes to run past my stool, and sometimes I like to push it around (actually I like to push everything around).
This weekend Porter went to the groomer for a haircut.  When he came home, I didn't even recognize him - he looked so different.  At first I was a little scared, because I thought he was a different dog.  One day, I'll get a haircut too...

It's Like a Heat Wave!

Since it is still so hot outside, we have to come up with new ways to have fun inside.  Today, Daddy pulled me around in my basket.  I brought my books and my purse and some of my Little People friends, and we went for a ride.  I almost fell asleep, it was really a very relaxing cruise.  Porter joined us as well, but he stayed outside of the cart and just trotted along next to me.

Happy Fourth of July

My second Fourth of July was even better than the first.  I went to Aunnie Grace's pool and went swimming.  She showed me how she can make a popping sound with her finger in her mouth.  I practiced the whole ride home, but I couldn't quite get it.  We were going to go to a parade, but it was so hot (102 degrees!), so I went to Oma's house instead and we had our own parade.  I played with all the crayons and put them in the box and out of the box - I colored a little bit, but moving the crayons around was so much more fun.

I keep telling Mommy and Daddy that I want to go "outside", but they keep saying it is too hot.  I wish this heat wave would finish.
