Lunch with my Friends

Today, I had a delicious grilled cheese and grape lunch with my friends Puppy and Dino.  I put them in my high chair all by myself, then I made it very clear to mommy that I wanted to sit in my chair with them.  We all enjoyed our lunch very much.  I gave Puppy a lot of hugs during lunch, and Dino supplied the dining music.

After I woke up from my nap, we all went to a birthday party.  I was one of the youngest kids there, but I still had a lot of fun, because there was a great swingset, play house, and even a couple of doggies.  The bigger kids had fun in the big bouncy castle, and when they took a break I sat in the bounce house and enjoyed my milk.  I do love a good party!

Play, Play, Play!

Today was a very busy day of playing.  I was a super hero with a cape, I played with a new lawn mower and even learned how to pull the string and "start" it, I lined up all my little people with my puzzles, and I spent some time with my tugboat.  The tugboat was mommy's toy when she was little, and now it is one my favorite to pull around the house too!

Talk with the Animals

While we were in St. Catharines, we went to see the ducks and sheep.  The sheep were really loud and kept scaring me, but I knew how to talk back to thm since I have been practicing my animal sounds.  I wore my elephant shirt, but I did not see any of those while we were ther.

Family Reunion - Vandenbraak Style!

I had a great time at the family reunion in Canada, I met over 60 new relatives on Oma's side.  When I got to the party after my nap, everyone was cheering and saying hello at the same time, and I just smiled.  Mommy said I was "hamming it up", but I'm not sure exactly what that means.

I walked around the pool dozens of time, but I always had to hold someone's hand.  I pulled my helicopter along behind me.
Jan and steve made a magnificent fruit tray.  I had more than my fair share of pineapple and watermelon.  That's the reason my belly looks so round, it was full of fruit!  When the downpour hit, we all huddled under the tents to stay dry - I'm so happy mommy picked the tent with the fruit tray and balloons, I was happy being stuck there.
My favorite new relative is Oma's cousin Jan from Holland.  He is so much fun, he would walk with me and play with my ball.  Then he would pick me up in the air and laugh.  He was talking Dutch to me, so I didn't really understand him, but we sure had a special bond!
