I have a new friend, his name is "Snail." I have been talking to him all night. He hasn't said much, but he is a really good listener. He comes to visit me whenever I sit in my new chair.

Rolly Polly
Today I rolled over from my tummy to my back. It really wasn't even that hard, but mommy started clapping her hands and smiling. Daddy wasn't there to see it, so I guess I will have to do it again for him. I'm pretty sure I can do it again...

Happy Father's Day
I had a great first Father's Day, and I think daddy did too. I made him a key chain at school, I did have some help, because it was the first time I held a Crayon. Mommy and I gave him a card and some of his favorite coffee too. We also put some family pictures in frames, since up until now everything has been digital!
Daddy went to the driving range to hit some golf balls today, and mommy and I went for a walk. I was a little confused when I woke up, because I wasn't expecting to be outside. It took me about five minutes to realize what was going on. For some reason, mommy thought it was funny enough to take a picture.

TGIF!
I was so tired after my first week of school. There is so much to do there and so many new friends to play with! I really like all my teachers, and they all want to take a turn feeding me and holding me. I have been using my pacifier a lot more lately, maybe because I miss my mom. Tonight I just couldn't stay awake any longer, even when Porter was trying to give me his favorite red bone. I fell asleep on the floor while I was hanging out with mom and dad. Tomorrow is Saturday, so maybe I'll get to sleep in.

First day of "school"
Today was my first day at the Goddard School; I was only there for half the day, and mom went back to work. Mommy dropped me off in the morning, and for the first time ever I decided to spit up - just a little bit - on mommy's work shirt. I thought it would be a little bit funny and might make her laugh, but I guess she was just a little to sad to laugh. She did say that she understood my humor. Then, when she left the school to go to work, she forgot to take the booties off of her shoes, so she walked all the way to her car with the blue surgical booties on her feet. Silly mommy. I did get to meet the other babies, and I sat right next to Annie. She is only a couple weeks older than me, so I think I can learn the ropes from her. I drank my whole bottle, and I even slept in my crib - just for a little bit. I think I'm gonna like it there.

Swimming!
On Memorial Day, I had my first swimming experience. I wore red, white and blue (of course), because my cute swim suit that the Wahlers gave me doesn't fit quite yet. I love swimming, and I'm really good at kicking my legs, so it seems like it could be a natural fit for me. I took a nice nap on the porch, tried out my new shades and I even met Bert.

Crazy Legs
Click on the picture below to check out this video of me from this morning when I woke up from my nap...
The video is sideways (we can blame Mommy), but that's okay.

Frowns to Smiles
I am 12 weeks old today!
When I look down at my shirt, it looks like it is frowning at me. I guess I better frown back at it. My mom said that this picture is "ironic" - but I'm not sure exactly what that means...
...Oh, wait, I just saw my shirt in the mirror, maybe that face is not frowning afterall, let me think about this one for a minute or two...
...Yup, that is definitely a smiley face on my shirt. I can do that too! Hi smiley face!

It's June!
I decided to celebrate the first day of June with another nap on the deck, this time with Oma. It is so relaxing to hear the birds and the ducks. Then I dined "al fresco" and had my mid-morning bottle outside. Now, this is the life!
You can really see my little birthmark by my knee in this picture. Aunnie Grace says it matches the one that Mommy has on her elbow.
